Listening lesson: Living together in the neighbourhood

Neighbours: sometimes you need them, sometimes they bother you. In this lesson of about 70 minutes, the student listens to three texts that get a little harder each time: a conversation at the door, a personal story and a radio programme.

The tutor reads the texts aloud; the student does not see them, so they really train their listening. First for the general idea, then for the details. The lesson ends with vocabulary in context and a speaking task.
